Why Not Practice More?
I have noticed that many students don't practice in their own time. It's pretty obvious as the ones that practice the most generally get the most benefits, and the ones who only train once a week (online or in class) make slower progress.
Now, it's not about learning 'stuff', it's about doing the most to ensure that your health and wellness are as protected as possible.
Some students had health issues over the winter and three of them had to suspend coming to training. However a couple managed to continue with their training and that seemed to help them get over their illnesses (non contagious ones, obviously).
I had a surprise, a flare-up of the arthritis that normally gives me virtually no trouble at all. Maybe it was stress related because of the hassle with the flooding in my studio, or maybe it was just one of those things. My Tai Chi practice certainly seems to help with both managing the pain and actually getting the inflammation to go down.
So, what ails you? And, more importantly, how might Tai Chi help? Please remember that I am only an email or phone call away and I'm always happy to try and help you figure out the best practice regime to meet your needs.
Of course, you may have no specific health issues, you may just do Tai Chi because you enjoy it. If that's why you practice Tai Chi then think about practising more, or coming to extra sessions (real world or via Zoom) to increase your ability in Tai Chi and to allow you to get even more from the wonderful art of Tai Chi.
If you have any questions about any aspect of Tai Chi you can contact us by phone, however, we block calls from unlisted numbers, so if your phone does not identify itself then please contact us via email. Of course, if you include your phone number, we will call you.
